Maddie Harvey
Maddie began tattooing after watching her mom and aunts undergo major breast cancer preventing surgeries in 2014. Women at a hereditarily higher risk will often choose to remove organs that can be the starting point for rapidly developing cancers. This can leave them with scar tissue. By applying areola tattoos that look 3D, Maddie is able to help bring normalcy and beauty back to these women's reflections. In the process of learning to tattoo, Maddie fell in love with tattooing in the traditional sense. Maddie splits her time between medical tattooing and body art tattooing. Her favorite subject matter is florals and organics, in both blackwork style and full color. She is most inspired by botanical illustrations and art nouveau.
